  • 1 1/2 cups almond meal
  • 25 medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/8 cup chia seeds

In a food processor, process dates until they form a ball. Add almond meal, cocoa, and chia and process until well blended. The mix should feel kind of moist or sticky.

Remove mix from food processor and pinch enough to make a 1-inch ball. Squeeze mixture and roll in your hands until a ball is formed. Repeat! It should make 20-24 balls.

NOTE: If you can’t find almond meal, you can make it! Just put almonds in a food processor and process until they turn into a coarse meal. Food Processor should only be used by adults! If you’re a kid, have adult supervision.

Do you like apple pie as much as I do? well if you do here is a easy recipe that even kids could make!

Ingredients

2 refrigerated pie crusts (I like Pillsbury)

6 medium green or gala apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup regular sugar

1/4 cup wheat flower

1 pat butter, melted

Vanilla ice cream!

To make it:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix the sugar and flour in a big bowl. Put in the apples and toss to coat completely. Stretch one pie crust on a pie plate (do not grease plate). Fill crust with apples. Put the other pie crust on top of the apple mixture and pinch edges to seal. Brush crust with a little melted butter. Cut five slits in top crust to let the air out!

Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Then lower to 375 degrees and bake one hour. Take out of the oven and let cool. Serve with ice cream!!!
